Industry On Campus (I.O.C) 2026/2027 at Kolej Komuniti Segamat, Bandar IOI, is an industry-driven Web Development and AI training programme conducted from 15 July 2026 to 10 March 2027. Designed to bridge academic learning with real-world technology requirements, the programme gives students practical exposure to modern website development, digital technology and AI-assisted content creation.
Kolej Komuniti Segamat, an institution under Malaysia’s Ministry of Higher Education, provides skills-based TVET education that prepares students for evolving industry needs. Through the IOC initiative, students gain valuable practical experience while developing skills relevant to today’s digital workplace.
Throughout the programme, participants learn Web Environment fundamentals, HTML Programming, CSS, JavaScript, PHP Programming and Database Connectivity, progressing from structured webpages to interactive and dynamic websites. Students also explore Web Optimization, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), media optimization, Online Marketing and Social Media Marketing.
The programme further integrates modern AI tools for Web Development and Digital Marketing, including Gemini AI, ChatGPT, Leonardo AI, Kling AI, Pixverse AI, SUNO AI and Gamma AI. Students learn how Artificial Intelligence can support website content creation, produce promotional banners, posters and videos, optimise digital media, and assist in the automation of social media marketing campaigns.
By combining Web Development, Artificial Intelligence, SEO and Digital Marketing, Industry On Campus 2026/2027 equips students with practical, creative and industry-relevant digital skills for building, promoting and managing modern websites.
